PCN228 Chemobrain: NOT Such a Foggy Concept in Reality

Chemobrain /chemofog are terms that describe the cognitive impairment occurring during or after discontinuation of antineoplastic treatment, affecting approximately 12-75% cancer patients. Although chemobrain has a high prevalence, and well-defined symptoms, it is seldom discussed in scientific research as compared to other side effects treatment. This study aims explore patients physicians’ perspectives on symptoms its impact quality life (QoL) qualitative exploratory way. Two approaches were combined. We conducted social digital media across four countries (United States, United Kingdom, France, Belgium) between January 2019 November 2020. Data from platforms (Twitter, Reddit, Specialized forums, Instagram, YouTube) analysed using combination listening tools (Brandwatch, Buzzsumo, Quid). manual web-based searches understand, categorize, quantify qualify content conversations surrounding chemobrain. also in-depth interviews with three two oncologists France.
